Alan Brown was born and raised here in San Diego.  After taking a break from his first stint with academia, he returned to obtain his B.A. in Psychological Science at CSUSM.  He has returned to pursue his M.A.  Outside of school responsibilities, you will find him participating in his local communities working directly with populations who have fallen on hard times. He is thrilled for the next chapter of his education.

Sophie is a current graduate student in the Psychological Science M.A. program here at CSUSM. She graduated with honors from Point Loma Nazarene University with a B.A. in Psychology in the Spring of 2024. She hopes to transition to a Ph.D. program upon obtaining her Master's Degree. When she’s not working on research, Sophie enjoys trying out new recipes, writing, making matcha, and going to concerts.

Alex is a senior at CSUSM and is currently pursuing her B.A in Psychological Sciences. She plans to apply for graduate school for a Phd in Clinical Psychology. In her free time, she loves to watch movies, to write, and try out new food and drink spots. She also loves to try new food and drink recipes in her free time.

Yuneises graduated from MiraCosta College in May of ‘22 and transferred to CSUSM. She is currently working on her B.A. in Psychological Sciences with a minor in Ethnic Studies. Yuneises is a TRiO McNair Scholar and after she finishes her B.A., she will be applying to graduate school. She hopes to earn a PhD in Psychology. Outside of school, she enjoys reading, chasing sunsets, visiting National Parks, and spending quality time with her loved ones.
